The Tanzania Investment and Supply Enterprise Zone Authority (TISEZA) successfully convened a high-level Forum in Lagos, bringing together key stakeholders to explore investment opportunities between Tanzania and Nigeria.
The Forum was led by Selestine Kakele, High Commissioner of the United Republic of Tanzania (URT) to Nigeria, alongside Dr. Chinyere Almona, FCA, Director General, and Engr. Leye Kupoluyi, President of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI).
Held under the theme “Accelerating Investment and Trade between Tanzania and Nigeria for Economic Development”, the Forum aimed to attract Nigerian investors to strategically significant sectors in Tanzania. Discussions highlighted priority areas including tourism, agriculture, industry, real estate, the blue economy, and mining sectors aligned with Tanzania’s Vision 2050 development agenda.
During the Forum, TISEZA reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Nigerian investors in establishing and expanding their ventures in Tanzania.
Organizers emphasized that such initiatives are key to deepening bilateral cooperation, strengthening trade partnerships, and promoting sustainable cross-border investment.
The Forum concluded with a strong message that Tanzania remains a viable and investor-friendly destination for Nigerian businesses seeking growth opportunities in East Africa.
