The Vice President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Ambassador Dr. Emmanuel Nchimbi, has arrived in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, to represent President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan at the African, Caribbean, and Pacific (ACP) Heads of State and Government Summit, taking place from 27 to 29 March 2026.
The summit offers Tanzania a vital platform to present its national priorities and actively contribute to shaping new strategic directions for the ACP Group, which is approaching its 50th anniversary.
Tanzania’s participation reflects the country’s commitment to active engagement in regional and international forums, as well as its dedication to promoting development and fostering international cooperation.
During the summit, Vice President Nchimbi is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with participating leaders to explore opportunities for enhancing economic and developmental partnerships.
