Mineral indicative prices for March 11,2026

 

The Mining Commission of Tanzania has released the latest indicative prices for gold and silver, reflecting trends in local and international markets as of March 11, 2026.

Gold remains strong, with the world market equivalent at TSh 432,700.94 per gram. Locally, mineral traders value gold at TSh 389,430.85 per gram, while buying centres offer slightly lower rates of TSh 380,776.83 per gram.

Silver is currently valued at TSh 7,331.91 per gram on the world market. Mineral market prices are TSh 6,598.72 per gram, and buying centres offer TSh 6,452.08 per gram.

The Mining Commission’s indicative prices serve as a key reference for miners, traders, and investors, ensuring transparency and stability in Tanzania’s mineral sector. Experts note that these figures help small-scale miners and local businesses make informed decisions.
