Attorney General expresses confidence in staff performance at AG’s Office

Attorney General Hamza S. Johari has expressed strong confidence in the performance of the Attorney General’s Office, urging staff to carry out their duties with professionalism and efficiency to achieve the Office’s goals.

Speaking at the first Staff Council meeting of the Office held today in Dar es Salaam, Mr. Johari emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards in service delivery.

“I urge all of you to continue performing the responsibilities of this Office with professionalism and efficiency to achieve its objectives. I have great confidence in the work of the Attorney General’s Office,” he said.

He further called on staff to strictly adhere to public service laws and regulations to avoid affecting government operations.

“Public service is guided by laws and regulations. I appeal to all staff to follow the Public Service Guidelines so that we do not compromise the performance of government operations,” he added.

The Attorney General also highlighted the need to enhance the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to improve efficiency.

“I want to stress the use of ICT systems to streamline work and provide efficient services for the benefit of both government and society,” he said.

Earlier, Chief Parliamentary Draftsman Onorius Njole welcomed Mr. Johari and noted the Office’s commitment to strengthening ICT systems.

“To further improve legislative drafting, we have invested heavily in e-drafting, e-translation, and e-revision systems. With your support, Attorney General, we are confident we will achieve these goals,” said Mr. Njole.

Mr. Njole also thanked the Attorney General for his continuous leadership and support to the Office.
