By The Respondents Reporter

In a move that underscores the growing role of Tanzanians in driving industrial development, L & N Standard Packaging Solution Ltd, a packaging manufacturing factory in Misenyi District, Kagera Region, has been launched with a TZS 6.7 billion investment

The facility has already created 57 direct jobs, boosting local economic growth and enhancing the country’s industrial production capacity.

The factory is being highlighted by the Tanzania Investment Centre and Special Economic Zones Authority (TISEZA) as part of its national campaign to promote domestic investment

The initiative seeks to showcase Tanzanians who dare to invest locally, proving that large-scale, strategic projects can be successfully owned and operated by nationals.

Ambassador Aziz Mlima, TISEZA Board Chairman, said during a recent investment promotion visit:"We want to empower Tanzanians to invest by dispelling the myth that investment is only for foreigners. True economic growth begins when Tanzanians lead in business development."

The success of L & N Standard Packaging Solution Ltd reflects the potential of Tanzanians to drive industrialization when supported with investor-friendly policies, clear regulatory frameworks, and close collaboration with government institutions like TISEZA.

Through this campaign, TISEZA continues to provide education, simplified procedures, incentives, and guidance on both fiscal and non-fiscal investment benefits.

The effort is aimed at encouraging more Tanzanians to invest in manufacturing, production, and service sectors, contributing to employment creation and the country’s economic transformation.
