Peace is the backbone of our businesses

By The Respondents Reporter

Peace and stability are key pillars for economic growth and community well-being, says Dar es Salaam-based entrepreneur Bi. Mosi Mwinyimvua, who urged all Tanzanians to safeguard the country’s peace.

“Peace is everything to us. As women entrepreneurs, we must work to earn a living, educate our children, and care for our families. Some of us are raising children without fathers. Without engaging in our daily activities, how will they survive? Peace is vital,” Bi. Mwinyimvua said.

She stressed that economic and social activities are disrupted in the absence of peace, creating fear and uncertainty within communities.

She called on every Tanzanian to take an active role in maintaining and protecting the nation’s peace.

Experts and studies indicate that peace fosters social, economic, and cultural development by giving people the freedom to carry out their daily activities without fear.

It is widely regarded as a cornerstone for any society’s progress, with benefits extending across all areas of life.
