The National Chairperson of ACT-Wazalendo, Othman Masoud Othman, has fulfilled his pledge by donating 100 bags of cement to support the completion of the party’s branch office at Wingwi Mapofu (Mapofu A) in Wingwi Constituency, Micheweni District.
The construction materials were officially handed over to the branch leadership by the party’s Micheweni Regional Chairperson, Rashid Khalid Salim, representing the National Chairperson.
Speaking during the handover, Salim urged branch leaders to ensure the donated cement is used for its intended purpose, noting that responsible utilization of such support strengthens trust and encourages continued assistance from party leadership.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the Wingwi Mapofu (A) Branch, the Chairperson of the Elders’ Council (Ngome ya Wazee), Mbarouk Ali Mbarouk, expressed gratitude for the contribution, describing it as timely and valuable.
He said the branch would formally convey its appreciation to the National Chairperson through an official letter.
Meanwhile, the Wingwi Constituency Secretary of ACT-Wazalendo, Abdallah Ali Said, called upon other branch leaders within the constituency to initiate construction of their own offices.
He said strengthening party infrastructure at the grassroots level is key to improving the implementation of party activities and enhancing organizational efficiency.
Othman Masoud Othman made the pledge last week during a special visit to the area, where he inspected party activities and laid a foundation stone for the branch office. The delivery of the cement marks the fulfillment of that commitment.
