Lupa MP launches water project in Mamba Village, Chunya

The Member of Parliament for Lupa Constituency, Masache Kasaka, has officially launched a TZS 401.9 million water project in Mamba Village, Chunya District, Mbeya Region. 

The initiative, funded by Catholic Relief Services (CRS), is expected to be completed within four months and aims to provide clean and safe water to residents of Mamba Village and neighboring areas.

Speaking at the launch, Masache thanked President Samia Suluhu Hassan for supporting development projects in Chunya District and enabling partnerships with development stakeholders.

“The involvement of development partners reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening collaboration for the benefit of communities. This project will bring significant relief to Mamba Village residents,” he said.

The MP’s visit included Michombero District Administrative Secretary Anacret, Acting District CCM Secretary Msafiri Mayeye, CRS representatives, the District Council Chairman, and technical experts from the Chunya Ruwasa office.

Officials monitored the project closely to ensure it is completed on time and meets the required standards, enabling residents to start benefiting as intended.
