The Handball Club Championship is scheduled to take place from March 13 to 17 this year in Arusha, promising a week of exciting action for fans and athletes alike.
Speaking to The Respondent Online, Michael Chibawala, Chairman of the Tanzania Handball Association (TAHA), confirmed that preparations for the tournament are progressing smoothly.
He explained that the championship’s main aim is to identify top players and teams who will represent Tanzania in upcoming international handball competitions.
"We have already begun preparations and sent invitations to all participating clubs so they can organize themselves and start training. We are expecting a high level of competition," Chibawala said.
He also called on sports enthusiasts, sponsors, and community members to attend in large numbers to support the event and help make it a success.
