Sixty-five participants successfully completed a beach handball seminar at Dege JKT Mbweni Beach in Kigamboni, Dar es Salaam.
The training was organized by Go for Goals Sports Center in partnership with the Dar es Salaam Regional Handball Association, aiming to nurture young talent and promote the sport across the region.
Speaking to The Respondent Online, seminar coordinator Moshi Ally said the participants came from Dar es Salaam and the coastal regions.
“The main objective of this seminar is to develop handball, particularly among young players, and to provide them with opportunities to represent Tanzania at national and international levels,” he said.
Moshi emphasized that the seminar is part of a continuing series designed to strengthen the sport in the country.
“This was the first phase of training. The second phase will take place on February 14 at Tanzanite Beach in Kigamboni,” he added.
