The Minister for Industry and Trade, Judith Kapinga, has visited KAMAL Company in Dar es Salaam as part of her ongoing official tours aimed at strengthening and monitoring the development of the industrial and business sectors in Tanzania.
KAMAL Company has been engaged in the production of steel bars and various construction materials, and has served the Tanzanian market for a considerable period, making a significant contribution to the growth of the construction sector and the national economy.
Speaking at the conclusion of the visit, Minister Kapinga commended the company for its continued cooperation with the government, particularly through its efforts to improve the business environment and support economic growth by creating employment opportunities for Tanzanian youth.
“The government recognizes the important role played by KAMAL in strengthening the industrial and construction sectors. Through job creation for young Tanzanians, the company has become a key partner in our national development agenda,” said Minister Kapinga.
She further assured that the government will continue to work side by side with KAMAL Company to ensure the successful implementation of the Ministry’s strategic plans, while also contributing to the achievement of Tanzania’s Development Vision 2050.
“Strong collaboration between the government and the private sector is essential in realizing our industrial development goals and attaining Vision 2050,” she added.
On his part, the Managing Director of KAMAL Company, Mr. Samir Santosh, expressed his appreciation to the Minister for the visit and for the continued partnership between the government and the private sector.
“We are grateful to the Minister for visiting our facilities and for the constructive cooperation with the government. This partnership enables us to expand production and contribute meaningfully to national development,” said Mr. Santosh.
He added that KAMAL Company remains committed to investing in modern technologies, improving product quality, and increasing employment opportunities for Tanzanian youth in line with the government’s industrialization agenda.
The visit forms part of the ongoing official tours being conducted by Minister Kapinga in Dar es Salaam, aimed at reinforcing the industrial sector as a key pillar of Tanzania’s economic growth.
