Yanga SC beat Fountain Gate 2-0 to climb NBC Tanzania Premier standings

Yanga SC emerged victorious with a 2-0 win over Fountain Gate in today’s NBC Tanzania Premier League clash at the KMC Complex in Dar es Salaam.

The match started cautiously, with both teams focused on defending and trying to avoid conceding an early goal. 

As the first half progressed, Yanga gradually asserted control, increasing pressure on Fountain Gate’s defence.


In the 29th minute, Prince Dube broke the deadlock, finishing a well-crafted team move with precision to give Yanga the lead. 

The goal injected confidence into the defending champions, who continued to dominate possession and create chances.


Yanga sealed the win in the 81st minute when Pacome Zouzoua scored with a stunning strike that left the Fountain Gate goalkeeper with no chance. The goal confirmed Yanga’s dominance and secured all three points.

With this win, Yanga moves up to third place in the league standings. They trail JKT Tanzania, who lead with 17 points, while Pamba Jiji occupy second place with 15 points.
