The Secretary to the Member of Parliament for Vunjo Constituency, Idd Mfinanga, accompanied by several councilors, visited the office of the newly elected Chairman of Moshi District Council, John Mapato Meela, to officially congratulate him and introduce himself.
The visit took place today, marking Meela’s first official day in office following his election to the position.
Meela pledged to serve all residents of Moshi District Council without favoritism, emphasizing his commitment to strengthening performance and accountability.
Conveying greetings on behalf of the MP for Vunjo and the people of the constituency, Mfinanga congratulated Meela on his election and assured him of close cooperation between the MP’s office and the Council leadership to ensure effective implementation of development projects.
Mfinanga stressed that Vunjo Constituency is committed to working hand in hand with the Council to accelerate development, noting that this cooperation will be a key pillar in improving the lives of the people in the area.
