Tanzania’s Foreign Minister, Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo (MP), is on an official working visit to Washington, D.C., to boost cooperation and deepen relations between Tanzania and the United States.
During his visit, Minister Kombo has held discussions with key U.S. stakeholders, including government officials and members of Congress, focusing on political, economic, and diplomatic collaboration.
He met with Congressman Brian J. Mast of Florida, Chairperson of the U.S. House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee, where both sides agreed on ways to strengthen bilateral relations. Congressman Mast also extended an invitation for his committee to visit Tanzania in the near future.
The visit underscores Tanzania’s commitment to expanding international partnerships and exploring new opportunities for development and collaboration with the United States.
