The Tanzania Police Force has reaffirmed that the country remains secure and calm, following a fresh 24-hour assessment released after its earlier briefing on the morning of December 11, 2025.

In a statement issued from Police Headquarters in Dodoma, the Police said nationwide security has remained stable, with economic and social activities continuing uninterrupted.

The update credits this stability to strong cooperation between security and defense agencies, citizens, and a wide network of national stakeholders committed to safeguarding peace.

“The country remains safe, and all activities proceeded normally in the past 24 hours,” the statement noted, underscoring the role of public collaboration in maintaining law and order.

As the nation heads into the weekend, the Police encouraged all citizens to continue observing the law, exercising responsibility, and actively contributing to peace within their respective areas.

The statement further assures the public that the Tanzania Police Force, working closely with other security institutions, remains committed to protecting the nation, as well as the lives and property of all Tanzanians.

At the same time, the Police warned against divisive messages being circulated through various platforms, urging citizens to reject content aimed at incitement or creating hostility among communities.

“We must all remain vigilant and avoid falling prey to narratives designed to provoke conflict, as similar tactics have caused instability in other parts of the world,” the statement emphasized.

The Police called on the public to continue educating one another about the importance of unity and national harmony, describing peace as a collective responsibility and a foundation for the country’s progress.
