Taifa Stars begin camp ahead of FIFA international friendly against Kuwait

The Tanzania national football team, Taifa Stars, has officially entered camp today as they prepare for their FIFA international friendly against Kuwait on November 15 at Al Salam Stadium in Cairo, Egypt.

Speaking to The Respondents Online, Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) Media and Communications Officer Clifford Mario Ndimbo said the team will spend two days training in Tanzania before departing for Egypt.

“The squad will have two days of preparation here, today and tomorrow, before leaving on November 12, fully ready to face Kuwait,” Ndimbo said.

On the participation of players based abroad, Ndimbo explained that none have joined the camp yet, but most are expected to link up with the team directly in Egypt.

The 23-man squad features key players from local clubs including Yacoub Sulemani, Wilson Nangu, Morice Abraham, Shomari Kapombe, and Suleiman Mwalimu (Simba SC); Zuberi Foba, Pascal Msindo, Feisal Salum, and Abdul Suleiman (Azam FC); Dickson Job, Mudathir Yahya, Bakari Mwanyeto, Mohamed Hussein, and Ibrahim Abdulla (Young Africans SC); Hussein Masalanga and Habibu Iddi (Singida Black Stars); and Paul Peter (JKT Tanzania).

International-based players include Novatus Dismas (Coztepe FC, Turkey), Haji Mnoga (Salford City, England), Tarraryn Allarakhia (Rochdale AFC, England), Charles M’mombwa (Florian FC, Malta), Kelvin John (AABORC B, Denmark), and Alphonce Mabula (Shamakhi, Azerbaijan).

The team will continue their preparations in Egypt ahead of the friendly, focusing on team cohesion and tactics as they aim for a strong performance against Kuwait.
