Prime Minister Nchemba engages key Ministers to strengthen service delivery for citizens

In a move aimed at improving coordination and service delivery to Tanzanians, Prime Minister Dr. Mwigulu Nchemba on November 19, 2025, held a strategic meeting with ministers and deputy ministers from the Prime Minister’s Office at Mlimwa in Dodoma.

The session brought together senior government leaders, including the Minister of State for Policy, Parliament and Coordination, William Lukuvi; the Minister of State for Regional Administration and Local Government (PMO-RALG), Prof. Riziki Shemdoe; and the Minister of State for Labour, Employment and Relations, Deus Sangu.

Also in attendance were the Deputy Minister for Policy, Parliament and Coordination, Ummy Nderiananga, and the Deputy Minister for Labour, Employment and Relations, Rahma Riadh Kisuo.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Nchemba highlighted the government’s commitment to ensuring citizens receive efficient, timely, and quality public services. 

He urged all leaders to intensify coordination across their sectors, accelerate implementation of development programmes, and remain focused on solving challenges that affect ordinary Tanzanians.


Officials noted that the discussions centered on strengthening accountability, improving management of national programmes, and ensuring that ministries deliver results that directly benefit communities, especially in areas such as local governance, employment, and social protection.

The Prime Minister emphasized teamwork as essential to driving national priorities forward, adding that seamless coordination among ministries is key to fulfilling the Sixth-Phase Government’s promise of better services, stronger institutions, and improved livelihoods for citizens.

The engagement forms part of the government's wider efforts to enhance transparency, effectiveness, and responsiveness in public service delivery for all Tanzanians.
