Regional Commissioner of Arusha, CPA Amos Gabriel Makalla, has met with religious and traditional leaders in the region, urging them to continue promoting peace among their followers and to pray for the nation’s stability.
The meeting focused on building a society rooted in peace, love, and unity. During the gathering, CPA Makalla joined the leaders in a special prayer session led by prominent figures, including Arusha’s Chief Sheikh, Sheikh Shaaban Bin Juma, and Dr. Israel Ole Maasa, parmanent Secretary of the Tanzania Peaceful Coexistence Association.
CPA Makalla stressed the crucial role of religious leaders in guiding their communities. He called on them to preach the message of peace and to continue offering prayers for Tanzania.
In turn, the leaders pledged to work closely with the government to ensure communities remain peaceful and harmonious.
“Peace and stability are essential for Tanzania’s development. Each of us must renew hope and offer prayers to Almighty God for the nation’s wellbeing. The government will continue to listen to your guidance and act on it,” CPA Makalla emphasized.
During their prayers, the leaders also sought blessings for the country’s leadership, including President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan and her team, asking God to grant them wisdom, strength, and determination to serve Tanzanians effectively and ensure the nation remains safe.
