The southern highlands, encompassing Rukwa, Songwe, Mbeya, Njombe, and Iringa, are forecast to experience light rain in parts of the region.

Southern coastal areas, including Mtwara and Lindi, may also receive isolated rainfall, while southern regions such as Ruvuma and southern Morogoro could see light showers in some areas.

TMA has urged residents to stay alert to weather advisories, particularly in areas prone to thunderstorms, and to take necessary precautions to ensure personal and property safety.
