As part of Customer Service Week, the Medical Stores Department (MSD) visited Mbagala Rangi Tatu Hospital, donating 50 bed sheets and 20 boxes of Power Free Gloves.
The initiative is part of MSD’s effort to recognize its clients and support health institutions that deliver frontline services to Tanzanians.
Speaking at the handover, MSD Acting Manager for Customer Service and Projects, Gendi K. Machumani, said the donation demonstrates MSD’s commitment to improving service delivery and strengthening partnerships in the health sector.
“We chose this Customer Service Week to engage with our clients directly and show that we value their role in ensuring access to medicines and medical supplies across the country,” Machumani said.
Hospital representatives welcomed the support, noting that the contribution would improve patient care and enhance working conditions for healthcare staff.
MSD has a long-standing tradition of marking Customer Service Week with community-focused activities, aiming to reinforce relationships with stakeholders in the health sector.
