Chief Justice meets CMA leaders to boost labour Justice Services

The Chief Justice of Tanzania, George M. Masaju, has emphasized the need for speedy and fair resolution of labour disputes as he met with the leadership of the Commission for Mediation and Arbitration (CMA) today in Dodoma.

During the meeting with CMA Director Usekelege Mpulla and the Commission’s management team, discussions centered on strengthening collaboration between the Judiciary and CMA and sharing ideas to improve the delivery of labour dispute resolution services nationwide.

Masaju called on CMA officials to remain responsible and patriotic in their work, underlining the importance of ensuring justice is accessible and timely for all Tanzanians.


The Chief Justice was joined by senior Judiciary officials, including Acting Chief Justice of the High Court, Abdi Kagomba, Acting Registrar General, George Herbert, and Justices Venance Mlingi and Clarence Mhoja.

CMA Director Mpulla praised the Judiciary for its continued partnership and assured that the Commission remains committed to working closely with the courts to enhance labour justice services across the country.
