Yanga SC is set to face Wiliete SC in the second leg of their CAF Champions League tie tomorrow at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
Yanga goes into the match holding a commanding 3-0 lead from the first leg played on September 19 in Angola.
Speaking to journalists yesterday, coaches and players from both teams shared insights into their preparations.
Yanga head coach Romain Folz said the team is focused on securing another victory. “Our preparations are going smoothly. My goal is to win this match and entertain our fans, as well as Tanzanians across the country,” Folz said.
He added that he respects his opponents and will approach the game with caution. “Wiliete studied us in the first leg, so I expect them to make adjustments. We will remain alert to avoid any surprises,” he explained.
Yanga player Aziz Andambwile confirmed that the squad is in excellent shape and ready for the encounter.
“We are fully prepared and will follow the coach’s instructions to ensure positive results at home. We urge our fans to come out in large numbers,” he said.
Wiliete SC head coach Bruno Ferry expressed confidence that his team will fight for victory despite the first-leg loss.
“This will be a tough, competitive match. Even though we lost the first leg, we have not given up. Our players will give their all to achieve a positive outcome,” Ferry said.
Speaking on behalf of Wiliete players, Mahlatsi Makudubela emphasized the squad’s determination to follow their coach’s guidance and turn the tie around.
Meanwhile, Yanga’s Communications and Media Manager, Ally Kamwe, said the club’s aim is to win and advance further in the tournament.

Ticket prices for the match have been set as follows: VIP A — TZS 30,000, VIP B — TZS 20,000, VIP C — TZS 10,000, and general admission — TZS 3,000.
