Residents of Uyole constituency have been promised tangible improvements in livelihoods, youth empowerment, and local development during President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan’s first 100 days in office.
Speaking at a public rally on September 23, 2025, in Mwasanga Ward, Nsoho Street, Speaker of the National Assembly and CCM parliamentary candidate, Dr. Tulia Ackson, said the government plans to boost support for young people and local farmers.
“President Samia understands that the current council allocations are limited. She has pledged additional resources to empower youth and strengthen the local economy,” Dr. Tulia said.
He highlighted that the CCM 2025–2030 manifesto includes subsidies for farm inputs, which will be sold at affordable prices, enabling residents to improve their income and reduce poverty.
“The government is covering significant costs so citizens can access essential resources. This will increase productivity and support livelihoods,” he added.
Ward Councillor Brandy Nelson called for urgent investment in roads and a local primary school, citing the daily challenges faced by residents.
“Madam President, our community needs better roads and schools. Your support will make a real difference in people’s lives,” she said.
Suma Fyandomo, an incoming MP through Umoja wa Wanawake, urged residents to embrace development programs and actively participate in community improvement initiatives.
Edina Mwaigomele, Chairperson of Umoja wa Wanawake in Mbeya Region, emphasized the critical role of women in development and the need for ongoing empowerment initiatives.
With these commitments, Uyole residents are set to see measurable benefits in agriculture, youth programs, and community infrastructure in the months ahead.
