TVNL second round set to begin on September 17

The second round of the Tanzania Volleyball National League (TVNL) is scheduled to kick off on September 17 at the Mwembe Yanga grounds in Dar es Salaam, promising a month of intense competition and exciting volleyball action.

Riziki Godwin, Chairman of the League Board under the Tanzania Volleyball Federation (TVF), said preparations are progressing smoothly to ensure the tournament is organized to the highest standards.

“We are confident that the teams are preparing well. This round will be critical in determining which teams advance to the playoffs and ultimately compete for the championship,” Godwin said.

He urged team officials to provide thorough training and support for their players to ensure strong performances, emphasizing that only the most prepared teams will make it to the playoffs.

Godwin also called on fans and volleyball enthusiasts to attend and witness the talent and entertainment the league promises. 

He highlighted the importance of support from sports stakeholders to help ensure the smooth running of the tournament.

The second round will run until September 28, when the league champions will be crowned, capping off a month of high-level volleyball competition.
