The Tanzania Investment and Special Economic Zones Authority (TISEZA) has entered into a strategic partnership with Tanzania Commercial Bank (TCB) to provide seamless financial services to investors.

The agreement was signed yesterday at TISEZA headquarters in Dar es Salaam.

Speaking at the event, TISEZA Director General, Mr Gilead Teri, said the collaboration will ease access to financial services for both local and foreign investors while supporting the government’s efforts to attract more capital inflows.

“TCB is among the fastest-growing banks in the country. We are confident this partnership will not only simplify services for our investors but also help us promote investment opportunities across Tanzania,” Mr Teri said.

TCB Chief Executive Officer, Mr Adam Mihayo, noted that the bank was committed to expanding its support to investors and strengthening cooperation with TISEZA to enhance efficiency in service delivery.

“This agreement marks a new chapter for us. We are ready to work closely with TISEZA to ensure investors receive the best support needed to grow their businesses and contribute to the economy,” Mr Mihayo said.

The deal is part of wider efforts to implement President Samia Suluhu Hassan’s directive for state-owned institutions to work more closely together in driving the country’s development agenda.
