Stanbic Bank Tanzania has launched a three-month campaign, “Masters of Transactions,” aimed at rewarding customers for using digital payment channels in their daily lives.
From paying school fees and topping up fuel to shopping for household items and buying mobile airtime, customers now have the chance to turn everyday transactions into instant rewards.
The campaign, which coincides with Stanbic’s 30th anniversary in Tanzania, targets users across multiple platforms, including Visa and ATM cards, the Smart App with over 600 agents.
Rewards are structured to suit different levels of engagement, ranging from TZS 25,000 for previously inactive accounts to instant bonuses of up to TZS 300 per transaction, while high-volume users can earn up to TZS 100,000.
Emmanuel Mahodanga, Head of Personal Banking at Stanbic, emphasized the benefits of digital banking: “Banking becomes truly valuable when it simplifies daily life. Masters of Transactions shows that digital services are not only safe and convenient but also rewarding. As we celebrate 30 years in Tanzania, this campaign reflects our commitment to supporting our customers and contributing to the nation’s growth.”
Other Stanbic officials highlighted the inclusive and far-reaching nature of the campaign. Avin Ngoo, Manager of Agency Banking, said, “Through our agent network, Stanbic brings financial services closer to every community. Every transaction, no matter how small, reinforces that our customers are part of the Stanbic family.”
Shabani Mwenda, Acting Head of Personal Banking Improvement, added, “Every digital transaction helps Tanzania advance towards a safer and more transparent financial system.”
The campaign goes beyond conventional promotions by extending into public spaces. Celebrities will join Stanbic to surprise winners at shops, fuel stations, and other public areas, turning routine transactions into celebratory moments.
Winners’ stories will also be shared on digital platforms, showing how everyday financial habits can translate into real rewards.
With more Tanzanians embracing cashless payments, “Masters of Transactions” reinforces Stanbic Bank’s leadership in promoting convenience, trust, and accessibility in the country’s financial sector.
Stanbic Bank Tanzania, part of the Standard Bank Group, continues to support individuals, businesses, and institutions with a wide range of financial solutions while driving economic growth and regional integration.
