Deputy Minister for Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, Hamis Mwinjuma, will today be the guest of honor at the Coastal Union Festival, scheduled to take place at Mkwakwani Stadium in Tanga.
Coastal Union Chairman, Hassan Muhsin, said preparations have been finalized to ensure the event is held with professionalism and excitement as the club ushers in the 2025/26 season.
“Our goal is to unite stakeholders, members, and supporters as we prepare for the new season. I invite fans from across Tanzania and beyond to fill the stadium and be part of this special occasion,” said Muhsin.
The festival will feature a friendly match, serving as part of the team’s preparations for the NBC Tanzania Premier League. Coastal Union will also unveil its new signings and introduce the official home and away kits for the upcoming season.
According to Muhsin, the event will go beyond football, with several community engagement activities lined up to reinforce the club’s commitment to giving back to society.
He urged fans and stakeholders to attend in large numbers, promising an afternoon filled with entertainment, football, and community spirit.
