The Director General of Tanzania Airports Authority (TAA), Mr. Abdul Mombokaleo, paid a significant visit to the Tanzania Meteorological Authority (TMA) pavilion during the ongoing 2025 Nane Nane National Agricultural Exhibition held at Nzuguni grounds in Dodoma.
Mr. Mombokaleo engaged closely with TMA officials and received comprehensive briefings on critical aspects of weather forecasting, the mechanisms of weather data dissemination, and the vital role of the National Meteorological Training Centre (NMTC), which provides specialized training accessible through www.nmtc.ac.tz.
The TMA pavilion continues to attract a steady stream of visitors and stakeholders eager to learn about the authority’s services, which are instrumental in supporting agriculture, livestock management, fisheries, aviation safety, and climate resilience initiatives across Tanzania.
This year’s Nane Nane exhibition operates under the theme, “Choose the Right Leaders for Agricultural, Livestock, and Fisheries Development 2025,” emphasizing the critical link between strong leadership and sector growth.
The exhibition serves as a national platform where government agencies, private sector players, and development partners converge to showcase innovations, share knowledge, and promote sustainable development practices aimed at transforming Tanzania’s agriculture-based economy.
