Hundreds of residents in Mvomero District have declared their firm support for Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) presidential candidate, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, as the October 29, 2025 General Election draws closer.
The residents gathered at Sokoine Grounds in a mini campaign rally, where they expressed confidence in CCM’s leadership and pledged their votes to Dr. Samia.
The atmosphere was charged with chants and songs praising the ruling party and its candidate.
Community members who attended the rally said their choice was guided by visible achievements under Dr. Samia’s administration.
They cited infrastructure development, improved social services, and economic reforms as some of the key reasons they are committed to supporting her second term bid.
“We have seen real changes in our district and across the country. Dr. Samia has shown strong leadership, and we believe she deserves to continue guiding Tanzania,” said one resident during the event.
The show of support in Mvomero reflects a broader wave of enthusiasm as CCM intensifies its campaigns in different parts of the country, with the ruling party banking on its record of development to secure another term in office.
