The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has officially set August 16, 2025, as the date for its General Elections, which will be held in Tanga Region.
The announcement was made on Saturday, June 14, by the TFF Election Committee.
Committee Chairperson, Advocate Kiomoni Kabamba, stated that nomination forms will be available starting June 16. The deadline for collecting and submitting the completed forms is June 20.
According to Kabamba, preliminary vetting of candidates will take place from June 21 to 23. Candidates will be formally notified of the results of this initial screening process.
“Candidate interviews are scheduled to take place from July 1 to 3, followed by the official announcement of the preliminary outcomes,” he said.
Positions open for election include the role of TFF President, which carries a nomination fee of TZS 500,000. Additionally, six positions are available on the Executive Committee, each requiring a nomination fee of TZS 200,000.
