Yanga crush Fountain Gate 4-0 to stay top

Young Africans SC (Yanga) continued their impressive form in the NBC Tanzania Premier League with a commanding 4-0 victory over Fountain Gate, in a match played yesterday at Tanzanite Kwaraa Stadium in Babati, Manyara Region.

Yanga broke the deadlock in the 39th minute when Clement Mzize fired home the opening goal. Just four minutes later, Stephane Aziz Ki doubled the lead with a well-taken goal, sending Yanga into halftime with a comfortable 2-0 advantage.

The second half saw Yanga maintain their dominance. In the 70th minute, Mzize struck again, finishing off a neat assist from Jonathan Ikangalombo to make it 3-0.

In the 89th minute, Clatous Chama added the final flourish with a fourth goal, sealing a statement win for the league leaders.

After 90 minutes, Yanga walked off the pitch with a deserved 4-0 win. The result also sees Clement Mzize increase his goal tally to 13 for the season.

Across both home and away fixtures this season, Yanga has now scored nine goals against Fountain Gate winning at both the KMC Complex in Dar es Salaam and away at Kwaraa Stadium.
