Puma Energy Tanzania has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting government efforts in promoting the use of clean cooking energy by donating gas cylinders to residents in Chalinze District, Coast Region.
During the handover ceremony held yesterday as part of the national Uhuru Torch race activities, PumaGas Sales Manager Mr. Jeffrey Nasser presented the gas cylinders to Chalinze District Commissioner Mr. Shaibu Issa Ndemanga and the National Uhuru Torch race leader for 2025, Mr. Ismail Ussi Ali.
The donation targets street food vendors and people with disabilities, aiming to ensure access to clean, affordable, and reliable cooking energy across the country.
“As a company, we believe that the safety of families and the environment greatly depends on the type of energy used in households,” said Mr. Nasser.
By participating in this important national event, Puma Energy has demonstrated its strong commitment to community well-being and environmental health. The initiative is part of the company’s broader mission to create a safer and healthier society through the use of clean energy solutions.
