Yosam and Wasafi have booked their places in the semifinals of the ongoing Barberian Ramadhan Cup at JKM Park in Dar es Salaam.
Yosam advanced after edging out King Boss in a thrilling 6-5 penalty shootout following a goalless draw in regulation time.
Meanwhile, Wasafi sealed their semifinal spot with a 5-3 penalty shootout victory over WWB after their quarterfinal match ended in a 1-1 draw.
The competition continues today, with four more teams vying for the remaining two semifinal slots. Muhimbili Hospital will take on Master Rim, while Al Mahra will clash with Kilimanjaro in decisive matches scheduled for March 18 at JKM Park.
Speaking to The Respondent Online, tournament coordinator Saeed Juma Shein expressed satisfaction with the tournament’s progress, noting that two teams have already secured their places in the semifinals, and two more will emerge after today’s encounters.
