Tabora United is set to take on JKT Tanzania in an NBC Tanzania Premier League clash on March 7 at CCM Kirumba Stadium in Mwanza.
The team will use CCM Kirumba as its temporary home ground after the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) suspended Ali Hassan Mwinyi Stadium in Tabora due to non-compliance with required standards.
Speaking to the media, Tabora United’s Head of Communications, Christina Mwagala, said the club is actively implementing TFF’s directives to upgrade the stadium.
"Our target is to ensure that our upcoming matches against Yanga and KMC in April are played at Ali Hassan Mwinyi Stadium," she stated.
She reassured fans that the club, in collaboration with the Tabora regional government and key stakeholders, is working tirelessly to renovate the stadium so it can host the remaining league matches.
Mwagala also urged supporters to turn out in large numbers to cheer on the players and inspire them to perform well in the remaining fixtures.
