The Queen Samia Women’s Super Cup is set to reach its climax tomorrow with an exciting final at Sheikh Amri Abeid Stadium in Arusha.
The highly anticipated final will feature JKT Queens, who will square off against Yanga Princess in what promises to be an action-packed encounter.
JKT Queens secured their place in the final after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Simba Queens in the semifinals, while Yanga Princess delivered a dominant 7-0 win over Fountain Gate Princess.
Before the grand final, Simba Queens will face Fountain Gate Princess in a third-place playoff.
Speaking ahead of the final, JKT Tanzania and Queens’ spokesperson, Masau Bwire, expressed confidence in the team’s preparations, saying they are ready to deliver a patriotic performance, first against Simba Queens and then against Yanga Princess.
“Our players are motivated and eager to showcase their talent on the regional stage,” Bwire said. “We are grateful to have reached this point, and our goal is to demonstrate our skills and proudly represent women’s football in the CECAFA region.”
He also highlighted the support of the team’s patron, Minister of Defense Dr. Stergomena Tax, who will be present at the final to witness her players' commitment and dedication as they aim for a decisive victory.

The competition aims to celebrate International Women’s Day and will take place in Arusha, marking the first time the event is being held in the country.
