Preparations for the Dar es Salaam Regional Volleyball League are in full swing as the tournament is set to kick off this Saturday at the Kampala grounds in Dar es Salaam.
Speaking to The Respondent Online, the Technical Chairman of the Dar es Salaam Regional Volleyball Association (DAREVA), Nassoro Sharifu, said that preparations are almost complete.
He noted that the only remaining step is for the teams to arrive at the venue and begin the new season.
"The preparations are going well. The only thing left is for the teams to showcase the improvements they have made since the last season as we return to action," said Sharifu.
He explained that the league will feature both men’s and women’s teams in Serie A and Serie B, with teams competing for promotion from Serie B to A while others risk relegation from A to B, depending on their performance.
