LG Electronics East Africa has launched its first dedicated Commercial Air Conditioning (CAC) showroom in Dar es Salaam, marking a significant step toward providing energy-efficient cooling solutions for businesses in Tanzania and beyond.

Located at the Mohamed Enterprise Tanzania Ltd (MeTL) showroom, the facility will offer direct access to advanced air conditioning systems, catering to the region’s increasing demand for high-performance HVAC solutions.

Speaking at the launch, LG East Africa President Donghun Lee emphasized the showroom’s role in supporting infrastructure growth.

“East Africa is experiencing rapid development, and there’s a growing need for energy-efficient HVAC systems. Our CAC products are designed to provide businesses with significant energy savings while ensuring comfort,” he said.

The showroom will not only showcase LG’s latest commercial air conditioning products but also serve as an educational hub.

Businesses, contractors, and government institutions will have access to consultations and live demonstrations of various systems, including ceiling-suspended units, concealed ducts, and advanced controllers.

Lee also reaffirmed LG’s commitment to sustainability, stating that the energy-efficient inverter air conditioners and AI-powered units align with regional goals for environmental conservation and cost savings.

“These solutions are ideal for large commercial buildings such as offices, malls, hospitals, hotels, and government facilities,” he added.

Hussein Dewji, MeTL’s Director of Sales, highlighted the showroom’s importance in strengthening LG’s partnership with MeTL.

“This initiative will provide businesses with reliable, energy-efficient air conditioning solutions for large-scale projects,” he said.

LG’s Country Manager, Aashim Wadhwa, concluded by noting that the showroom goes beyond being a sales center.

“It’s a place where businesses and government entities can explore specialized solutions and experience the latest commercial air conditioning technology firsthand. We’re confident it will be a valuable resource for Tanzanian businesses,” he said.

The launch of the showroom underscores LG’s long-term commitment to supporting East Africa’s economic growth through innovative and sustainable cooling solutions.
