CRDB Federation Cup gaining momentum

The CRDB Federation Cup is intensifying as the round of 32 continues, with teams fiercely competing for a spot in the top 16.

Several teams have already secured their place in the round of 16 following today’s exciting matches. Among those advancing are Mtibwa Sugar, JKT Tanzania, Tabora United, Mbeya Kwanza, and Songea United, all of whom put in strong performances in today’s round of 32, played at various venues across the country.

Mtibwa Sugar emerged victorious with a commanding 5-3 win over Town Stars in a thrilling match held at the Manungu Stadium in Morogoro.

Biashara, on the other hand, suffered a 2-1 defeat to JKT Tanzania, who capitalized on their home advantage at the Major General Isamuhyo Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

In another exciting encounter, Tabora United triumphed 4-2 in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw against Transit Camp at the Jamhuri Stadium in Dodoma.

Songea United also impressed, defeating Polisi Tanzania 1-0 in a hard-fought match at the Ushirika Stadium in Moshi, Kilimanjaro.

Other teams that have advanced to the next stage include Mbeya City, KMC, Mashujaa, and Singida Black Stars, making the competition even more thrilling as the battle for the top 16 continues.
