Call for support to grow Volleyball in Dar es Salaam

By Victoria Godfrey

Stakeholders, including companies and both public and private institutions, have been called upon to step forward and invest in the sport of volleyball.

The appeal was made during an interview with The Respondent Online by Fred Mshangama, Chairman of the Dar es Salaam Region Volleyball Association (DAREVA).

He highlighted the financial challenges they are currently facing and emphasized the need for support to effectively run and succeed in organizing the league.

Mshangama encouraged anyone interested to contribute, stating that the doors are open for those willing to help advance the sport in Dar es Salaam.

“We welcome those with good intentions to assist us in making our league successful, helping us reach our goals. Dar es Salaam serves as the hub and the face of Tanzania’s volleyball league,” Mshangama said.

He also pointed out that the league provides a valuable opportunity for sponsors to promote their brands and products, as the competition will run until June this year.
