Master Rim will take on Wasafi in the final of the Barberian Ramadhan Cup tomorrow at JMK Park Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
Master Rim secured their spot in the final after narrowly defeating Kilimanjaro Star Cargo 8-7 in a penalty shootout during the semi-finals.
On the other hand, Wasafi advanced to the final after edging past Yosam 5-4 in another penalty shootout in the first semi-final.
In an interview with The Respondent Online, tournament coordinator Saeed Juma Shein confirmed that all preparations have been finalized for the grand finale, which will determine this year’s champion.
He highlighted that the competition has been intense, with all the teams showing strong performances and readiness.
"As we approach the final match tomorrow, we encourage fans and supporters to come out in full force to cheer on their teams and provide them with the motivation they need," he said.
Shein also shared details about the prizes: the champion will receive a full set of jerseys, 20 pairs of football boots, 10 footballs, and a cash prize of two million Tanzanian shillings. The runner-up will be awarded a set of jerseys, five footballs, and one million shillings.
Additionally, awards will be presented for the best goalkeeper, the most valuable player (MVP), the best emerging player, the most disciplined team, and the best player in each match.
