The recently concluded Power and Electricity Exhibition in Tanzania attracted both local and international exhibitors, including a major African cable manufacturer that has been operating in the country for over six years.
Among the key exhibitors was Neelkanth Cables Industry, represented by Ankur Trivedi, the company’s Operations Manager.
He highlighted how the Zambia-headquartered company has established itself as a market leader in high-quality cable manufacturing across the region.
"We are undoubtedly the leading local cable manufacturer in the region, thanks to our consistently high-quality products—ranging up to 32kV—which cater to domestic use, transformers, and high-voltage power lines," said Mr. Trivedi.
Neelkanth Cables has played a significant role in Tanzania’s power infrastructure, supplying cables for key institutions, including the State House, CRDB Bank, Azam, Watercom, Twiga Cement, and specialized copper cables for mining sites.
The company’s contribution extends beyond power solutions; it also supports Tanzania’s economy by investing in local industries and benefiting from the country’s favorable business environment.
"We recently opened a facility in Dubai, but our primary focus remains on expanding our footprint across Africa. As an African company, we understand local needs better than anyone," Mr. Trivedi added.
With its commitment to quality and regional expansion, Neelkanth Cables continues to strengthen its position as a trusted provider of power solutions in Africa.
