Mabula Magangila, the Director and Founder of the Tanzania Mining Services Association (TAMISA), recently emphasized the organization’s commitment to using digital strategies to expand economic opportunities for Tanzanians through the provision of quality services in the mining sector.
Speaking on November 21, 2024, at the third phase of the 2024 International Mining Investment Conference held at the Mwalimu Nyerere International Conference Centre in Dar es Salaam, Magangila shared the success TAMISA has already achieved by connecting with new clients and increasing its membership base.
“This year marked TAMISA’s debut at the conference, and the impact has been remarkable. We have connected with numerous new clients and welcomed many new members into our association,” Magangila noted. He assured that TAMISA will continue to participate in similar events to build on these successes.
Magangila also highlighted that TAMISA is open to individuals and businesses interested in engaging with the mining sector, even if they are not yet registered within the industry.
“We are here to assist anyone who has an interest in joining TAMISA, whether they are currently registered with a mine or not. We offer guidance on membership, helping Tanzanians to access jobs, mining contracts, and tenders,” he explained.
He further explained that access to mining-related tender information is exclusively available to TAMISA members, reinforcing the value of joining the association.
“Our network spans a variety of business types. Whether you’re a supplier, manufacturer, or even a farmer, we can help you find opportunities if your products or services meet the needs of the mining industry,” Magangila added.
He encouraged members and potential members to stay connected with TAMISA through social media channels, which serve as a central platform for tender announcements, updates, and other vital information.
Through TAMISA, Magangila aims to make the mining sector accessible to a wider population by creating a digital hub that facilitates communication and opportunity-sharing.
“Our goal is to provide a robust window of opportunity for Tanzanians, from small-scale operators to large enterprises,” he concluded.
