All is not well at the newly promoted Premier League side KenGold as they have succumbed to a third straight defeat following a 1-0 upset from KMC.
Their recent nosedive came at KMC Complex in Dar es Salaam on Monday when they dropped crucial points to maintain their poor run of the season.
Redemtus Mussa netted the solitary goal of the match to award his team their first victory of the campaign after stamping one draw and conceding one defeat in their previous two matches.
His goal earned him man of the match award after the encounter due to his superb performance throughout the tight encounter.
But, for KenGold, the outcome was rather a salt on fresh wound as they still searching for winning password in the top flight league and until now, they have no clue where to get it.
They launched the season with a 3-1 loss to Singida Black Stars at Sokoine Stadium in Mbeya, the former's home ground territory.
Their second assignment was against Fountain Gate at Tanzanite Kwaraa Stadium in Babati where they went down 2-1 before a third 1-0 loss to KMC.
However, going three games in a row without a win is not a promising indicator through there are several matches to come for them to make a U-turn before things gets out of hand.
Aside KenGold, their colleagues Pamba Jiji who are also new comers in the premier league have not managed to cherish a victory from their three played encounters which have ended in draw.
Both sides did well in the Championship League last season no wonder they finished on the top two slots but are finding it difficult to cope with the premier league demands.
