The Tanzania Women’s Chamber of Commerce (TWCC) is set to bring together women and youth entrepreneurs, financial institutions and other stakeholders at the 2026 Women and Youth Financial Inclusion Summit, scheduled for November 18 at Serena Hotel in Dar es Salaam.

The summit aims to strengthen financial inclusion by creating a platform where entrepreneurs can engage directly with financial institutions, explore available financing opportunities and discuss solutions to challenges limiting access to affordable financial services.

The gathering will focus on expanding access to financial products and services for women and young entrepreneurs, particularly those seeking capital to establish, grow and sustain their businesses.

One of the key highlights will be the launch of a report on digital financial inclusion for women and youth, providing an opportunity for participants to gain insights into the role of digital financing in improving access to financial services.

Participants will also learn about available financing opportunities, alternative financing models and the requirements for accessing capital to support their business ventures.

Beyond access to finance, the summit will provide an opportunity for entrepreneurs to share their experiences, raise concerns and make recommendations on how financial institutions and other stakeholders can improve the accessibility, affordability and convenience of financial services, particularly through digital platforms.

The event is also expected to strengthen connections between entrepreneurs, financial institutions, business leaders and investors, creating opportunities for partnerships, investment and business growth.

TWCC has encouraged women and youth entrepreneurs to take advantage of the gathering to expand their financial knowledge, understand available opportunities and build relationships that could help advance their businesses.

The summit will run from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Participation will cost TZS 50,000, with food and refreshments provided.
