The Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank (TADB) has been named the leading financial institution in supporting poultry projects in Tanzania, in recognition of its contribution to financing the sector.
The bank received the award at the 10th Tanzania Poultry Show 2026, held at Ubungo Plaza in Dar es Salaam on October 16 and 17.
The award recognises TADB’s role in providing financial services to poultry sector stakeholders to support production, business expansion and economic growth.
The recognition comes as access to finance remains an important factor in enabling farmers and livestock keepers to invest in production, improve efficiency and expand their businesses.
Through its financing services, TADB seeks to strengthen agricultural value chains, including livestock and fisheries, while supporting farmers, livestock keepers and fishers.
The bank said it remained committed to promoting sustainable development across the agricultural sector by expanding support to key players along the value chain.
The Tanzania Poultry Show provides a platform for industry stakeholders to showcase products and services, exchange knowledge and explore business opportunities in the poultry industry.
The award highlights the role of development finance institutions in supporting investment and growth in Tanzania’s poultry sector.
