The race for the Nyerere Cup volleyball titles intensifies today as teams compete in the semi-finals at the Tanzania Volleyball Federation (TVF) courts in Mwembe Yanga, Dar es Salaam, seeking places in tomorrow’s finals.

In the men’s category, Serengeti will face Nyika in a highly anticipated encounter, while Rukinzo will take on Bandari in the second semi-final as both sides look to move a step closer to the championship.

The women’s category will also feature two exciting clashes, with Bandari taking on Jeshi Stars and Nairobi Water facing JKT in the battle for the remaining final spots.

With a place in the final at stake, the teams are expected to raise their performance levels and deliver competitive displays as they pursue the tournament’s top honours.

Today’s matches will determine which teams advance to the final stage and remain in contention for this year’s titles.

The Nyerere Cup finals are scheduled for tomorrow, when the competition’s new champions will be crowned in the men’s and women’s categories.
