He also directed the Tanzania Rural and Urban Roads Agency (TARURA) in Lindi to complete preparations for the construction of a 1.5-kilometre tarmac road linking the UDSM Lindi campus with the main Lindi road.

The government delegation at the meeting included Lindi Regional Commissioner Adam Kighoma Malima; Deputy Minister for Lands, Housing and Human Settlements Development Kaspar Mmuya; Lindi Municipal Director Juma Mnwele; TARURA Lindi Regional Manager Engineer Alberto Kindole; and other regional leaders and technical experts.
