Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) Secretary General Asha-Rose Migiro has urged acting regional secretaries to uphold integrity, professionalism and party rules as they oversee the ruling party’s activities across the country.
Ms Migiro made the call on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, in Dodoma while opening a two-day orientation seminar bringing together acting CCM regional secretaries from 32 regions.
The training is focused on strengthening the leaders’ understanding of their responsibilities, management of party activities and implementation of CCM plans and directives.
Ms Migiro said the officials should execute their duties in accordance with the party’s principles, regulations and established procedures.
The emphasis on adherence to rules comes as the regional secretaries take on responsibilities that include coordinating party activities and ensuring that directives and plans are implemented at the regional level.
She also stressed the need for the leaders to approach their duties with professionalism and integrity, underscoring the importance of effective leadership in the running of party affairs.
The two-day seminar is expected to provide the acting secretaries with guidance on leadership responsibilities and the administration of CCM activities in their respective regions.
