The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has appointed Evans Mgeusa as its new secretary general, replacing Oscar Mirambo, who has been moved to a new role as deputy secretary general.
The appointments were made on Monday during a TFF Executive Committee meeting chaired by federation president Wallace Karia in Dar es Salaam.
Mr Mgeusa takes over the federation’s top administrative position after serving as chairman of the Njombe Regional Football Association (NJOREFA).
The changes also affect several key TFF directorates, including football development, commercial and marketing, legal affairs, and information and communications.
Mr Mirambo, who had been serving as acting secretary general, has been appointed deputy secretary general and director of football development.
The federation has appointed Hassan Njama as director of commercial and marketing, while Boniface Wambura will head the legal directorate.
Clifford Ndimbo has been appointed director of information and communications.
The appointments are part of changes approved by the TFF Executive Committee as the federation reorganises its senior management structure.
The federation's information and communications directorate announced the changes following the meeting but did not provide further details on the reasons for the reshuffle.
