Simba Sports Club has temporarily suspended discussions surrounding its Trustees Board, opting to channel its attention towards preparations for the upcoming football season.
The club’s Board of Directors reached the decision during a meeting held yesterday, saying the move will enable the leadership to concentrate on pressing priorities ahead of a demanding competitive calendar.
In a statement jointly signed by Board Chairman Crescentius Magori and Vice Chairman Murtaza Mangungu, Simba said all matters related to the Trustees Board would remain on hold until further notice.
The club said its immediate focus will be on key areas including completing player registration, preparations for Simba Day, the Community Shield fixture, and the start of the NBC Premier League campaign.
“The Board has resolved to temporarily suspend all ongoing matters related to the Trustees Board until a later date,” the statement said, while emphasizing the need to direct resources and attention towards building a strong foundation for the new season.
Simba also urged its members, supporters and fans to maintain unity and continue backing the club as it targets success in the upcoming campaign.
The decision comes at a crucial stage of the season preparations, with the club working to strengthen its squad, finalize administrative plans and ensure readiness for domestic and international competitions.
